OKO Rye opened in 2019, marking the second location for the brand. The vibrant dining space offers a direct view of the heart of Rye’s downtown, with a food and beverage menu that showcases Lewis and his team’s heartfelt interpretation of Japanese cuisine, sushi and casual small plates.

Reservations

We accept reservations for our indoor dining area over the phone at (914) 481-8660 and through OpenTable.

Outdoor seating is available, weather permitting. To reserve a patio table, please call the restaurant at (203) 557-8404 starting at 2PM on the same day you plan to dine. Reservations for future dates cannot be made for outdoor seating.

Please note: Verbal confirmation is required. We are unable to accept reservations or reservation requests via voicemail, email, or social media. Walk-ins are always welcome on a first-come, first-serve basis.

    Chef/Owner

    Brian Lewis, Chef and Owner of Full House Hospitality Group is a culinary virtuoso and one of the most celebrated chefs in the Northeast, lauded for his commitment to quality and innovation. Growing up in Somers, New York, Brian discovered his love for cooking at the age of 13 after a football injury redirected his path towards the kitchen. Though his perseverance, Brian landed his first cooking position at the celebrated Mona Trattoria, a well-respected Northern Westchester restaurant specializing in the celebrated Bolognese Cuisine of Emilia Romagna. Here, Chef Lewis found his new team and sport, spending the next eight formative years honing his skills and falling in love with the world of gastronomy.

    Chef de Cuisine

    Born in Trinidad and raised in South Florida, Chef Shand has built a distinguished culinary career defined by curiosity, precision and a passion for global flavors. After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu in 2008, he began his professional journey in some of Washington, D.C.’s most celebrated kitchens before expanding his craft internationally. His experience includes working at acclaimed restaurants such as Royal Mail Hotel in Australia under Chef Dan Hunter, Asador Etxebarri in Spain and the three-Michelin-starred Saison in San Francisco.

    Prior to joining OKO, Chef Shand served as executive chef at The Perfect Provenance in Greenwich, where his inventive, ingredient-driven approach earned recognition for creativity and seasonality. At OKO Rye, he partners with Founder and Chef Brian Lewis to bring a refined global perspective rooted in technique and collaboration—continuing to push the menu forward while fostering relationships with local farmers and creating immersive culinary experiences with chefs from across the industry.
